this post may be a few days late but i still cant get over how shonda killed derek. theres just no honor in the way they took out his character on greys anatomy. of all the ers in the world he had to be taken to the one that has no trauma training and full of incompetent doctors. and why was he a john doe? didnt he have any identification in his car? or maybe it wasnt his car? there was supposed to be no signal where the accident happened but a call got thru to kill him? what a storyline. such a waste of a talented and well loved main character.

my new shopping rule

ok so in my hopes of trying to justify shopping for new clothes i decided to look up on how often should we discard clothes (to be able to make space or have a reason to get new ones!). sometimes when we clean out our closet we decide to keep our "favorite" clothing in the hopes that there will be a reason to wear them again or that we would slim down and they'd fit again. that rarely happens though because everytime we go to the mall we just buy new ones and sometimes completely forget the old ones we "favorited", rediscover them again on our next spring cleaning. i couldnt find any article that sets an exact timeline for clothes so im going to set one for myself.

SHELF LIFE: 1-2 years (ok probably 3 years if they still fit perfectly).
PURCHASE DATE: write down the purchase date on the fabric.
SHOPPING FREQUENCY: 1 article per month except when there is an occasion

forevermore is back!

YAY! after 2 days of no forevermore, i'll be able to watch it again later tonight. in the meantime watch today's teaser here:

#teamJay or #teamXander? Jayag/Jaynes (ang chaka!/ang gay! LOL) or Xagnes?
it was recently brought to my attention that one of my favorite chichas is cancerous! the packaging that is... which contains perfluorooctanoic acid, or PFOA which are chemicals used in the lining of microwavable popcorn bags are part of a class of compounds that may be linked to infertility in humans. also the delicious fumes created by diacetyl is toxic and causes what is known as popcorn lung.
microwaving causes the chemicals to vaporize and migrate into your popcorn, where they can stay in the body for years and accumulate.
to reduce your risk, pop natural kernals in a skillet, adding a small amount of real butter or dried seasonings for flavor. or, try these microwavable brands, which use PFOA-free bags:
• Quinn Popcorn
• Jolly Time Popcorn
• Snappy Popcorn Co.
• Newman's Own Organics

holy week is when i usually clean out all my closets, plastic containers, study table, computer table, computers, etc (yes including my folders and files they get to be sorted/deleted)

sadly i wasn't able to throw out as much stuff as i thought i would this year which doesn't give me enough reason to go shopping or even make a shopping list 😂😂😂

i want an oven! must.stop.watching.food.network. HAHA
the samurai will soon be removed on samurai siege thus leaving the game title to be just "siege" instead of "samurai siege". booooo! i hope they replace him with a cooler unit though as it's now very difficult to three star an opponent without training higher kinds of troops (those that train for 10mins or more).

yikes, my desktop computer suddenly shutdown unexpectedly! just when i started blogging again *sad*. i hope it doesn't crash because i don't have enough money to get a replacement waaaaaa!

is it the heat?
is it the 24hr duty?
is it too old and about to retire?!
which is it?
LOL
i've been recently a victim of credit card fraud. here's my story:

last sunday i got 2 sms from unknown numbers saying that bpi needed to confirm validity of facebook transactions.

i thought it was a hoax so i ignored the first sms. when i received the 2nd one however my curiosity got the better of me so i replied. after a few hours a bpi agent called me asking if i lost my credit card or if i recently used it to transact on facebook. i replied to every question honestly (still with doubt that this might be some scam) until it came to the point where he asked for the last 4 digits of my credit card. i hanged up the phone LOL and called their hotline instead to confirm if there were indeed some facebook transactions made using my account.

sadly 2 facebook transactions totalling to less than php800 went thru before they blocked it and deemed all facebook transactions as fraudulent. they immediately blocked my credit card and said that they would replace it with a new account number. i had to file a dispute form though to make the whole complaint valid.

im thankful to the bpi credit card fraud department for being able to detect the hacked transactions asap and also for allerting me about the whole situation. my apologies for having doubted their sms and call LOL. you can never be too sure nowadays, better safe than sorry.

btw, i got my replacement card today yipeeee! no shopping for me though, need to control my spending hehehe. soon... soon...

on another note but still connected with this one-
i remember i did transact on facebook sometime last year and used my credit card details for buying some gold/coin for a game called war commander. (i personally know of 2 people who got hacked also from using their bpi credit cards to buy gems on clash of clans so beware!)
